Biography
Lidia Dragone was born in Venice, Italy, where she acted in theaters from an early age, also attending workshops abroad such as the Guildhall School in London. After high school, she moved to Milan to attend the Fabbrica Esperienza theater academy, based on the Meisner method. She then obtained an Associate’s Degree in Acting at the Santa Barbara City College (California) and finally a Bachelor’s Degree in Screen Acting in Berlin. She has had main roles in dozens of short films and other projects as an actress, while training as a dancer and being awarded as a poet. Her artistic path is not motivated by the pursuit of beauty, as much as it is by the search for lostness: for her to go far is is to dig into the flesh until the soul is found: “acting is externalizing one’s insides, it is a broken dance in which we rediscover ourselves as finally free”.
